1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ContractSense AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ContractSense AI is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze the text of legal contracts and return a plain-English summary including obligations, potential risks, and red flags. The App analyzes only the first 10 pages (or equivalent initial text section) of any submitted document.

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. Analysis results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or may not apply to your specific legal situation.

3. Not Legal Advice

The analysis generated by the App:

• Is for informational and educational purposes only
• Does not constitute legal advice or legal opinion
• Does not create an attorney-client relationship
• Should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney
• May not account for jurisdiction-specific laws or regulations applicable to your situation

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. The App is not directed at children under 13.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and only to analyze documents you have the right to submit. You agree not to:

• Submit documents containing personal data of others without their consent
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models
• Use automated tools to submit excessive requests or abuse the service
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to circumvent credit limits, purchase validation, or any security measure

6. Credits and In-App Purchases

New users receive 3 free analysis credits upon first use. Additional credits may be purchased through the Apple App Store at the prices shown in the App at the time of purchase.

Credits are non-refundable once used to perform an analysis. Unused paid credits are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's standard refund policy.

All purchases are processed by Apple. Disputes regarding billing should be directed to Apple in accordance with their App Store policies.

We reserve the right to change pricing or credit pack sizes with reasonable notice.

7. Data You Submit

You retain ownership of any documents and contract text you submit to the App. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process that content solely for the purpose of generating the analysis you requested.

Submitted content is automatically deleted from our servers after 24 hours. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You represent that you have the right to submit any document you upload, and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by ContractSense AI. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the App.

The AI-generated analysis output is provided to you for your personal use. You may not resell or redistribute analysis output as a commercial service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be available at all times or free of errors
• Analysis results will be accurate, complete, or applicable to your situation
• The App will meet your specific requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ContractSense AI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Reliance on analysis results for any legal or financial decision
• Loss of data, business, or profits
• Any decisions made based on App output

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which the operator resides.
